The International Labour Organisation estimates that more than 450 million people - one-fifth of the global workforce - work in supply-chain related jobs.Global supply chains have boosted employment opportunities, driving economic and social development in many countries. However, in spite of this, for many workers access to essential healthcare products and services for them and their families remains inadequate and can often be a financial burden.

iCare Benefits’ (iCB) innovative platform has enabled millions of workers to access essential products and services through affordable financing solutions. Expanding into healthcare and well-being services not only presents iCB with a great opportunity to grow its offerings and member-base but will lead to improved profitability for factories and provide an important basic need for those at the base of the pyramid.

GIFT’s Global Leaders Programme is assisting to develop a business model for the expansion of iCB’s healthcare and well-being product and service offerings to make Vietnam’s healthcare sector more inclusive.

You are invited to attend our free public forum on 2 June to hear recommendations from business leaders from around the world and join the discussion on how to improve workers’ access to healthcare services in Vietnam.
